HOW ART HEALS BODY, MIND & SOUL


Almost done building my new healing art studio! So excited 😆


Art heals. 



You don’t have to be a trained artist,  psychologist, or healer to get the benefits. The way you uniquely heal is already inside you. It’s been there since the day you were born. You just forgot with all the exciting experiences going on on the outside of your body. This is normal. But now it’s time to remember. And starting with art is a playful way to begin.

What you need:
- plain paper 

- a pen or pencil 

- a candle (I prefer white)
- an open-to-whatever attitude





To do:
- sit comfortably 

- relax and take 3-6 deep breaths
- just let go of any self doubt 

- pick up the pencil 

- put tip to paper 

- close eyes and draw what you see inside ...


It could be a blob or a line , a flower or monster. 



This is the beginning and all is right. Just let your hand go with no directions. When it stops, open your eyes. Notice how you feel and where in the body you feel it. Jot that down. 


That’s it. You’ve started on your art healing journey.
