AUTOMATIC WRITING FOR ANSWERS

Sometimes in life we find ourselves at a crossroads. There's a decision to be made, but thinking about it only puts us into a spin. We might even write out a list of pros and cons, but still the decision to be made for our highest good is not clear.

This is when Automatic Writing comes in handy.

What is Automatic Writing?

It's taking the thinking you out of the equation. Letting go of should dos or not dos and being completely open to all possibilities.

How?

It's best to use a pen or pencil and blank paper. But you can also do this on your computer if you're able to type with your eyes closed.

Set up a sacred space for yourself. Light a candle. I typically burn a white candle, but feel into what your energy is calling for and use that color.

Have a blank paper pad open to a new page and a pencil or pen. Place your feet on the floor, palms turned up and open on your lap. Close your eyes and take some deep breaths in and out of your nose. Sigh a few times and then when you feel ready, pick up your pencil. Place the tip to the top part of your paper and ask for guidance from your spirit guides.

Then just start writing. Don't think about what you want to write, or what should be written. Let go. Write. Write. Write. Fill the page, turn to the next and fill that one. Fill at least three pages before you take a break.

If you have more to come out, keep going. Write until you feel complete. When done, thank your guides before reading these automatic words.

When you read, they might not make much sense. Take a highlighter and mark repeating words or phrases. Note anything that is a surprise to you or a curiosity.

This new information comes from your subconscious and will help you with your decision making.

Have fun with this!

Go play!
