OVERVIEW
With gentle artistic guidance and loving kindness, we enter a Sacred Space together to release old stories and grow creatively. By blending Meditation, Reiki, Body Awareness, Automatic Creating, and Intuition, we awaken the unconscious and allow the Soul to whisper onto the page.
GOALS
1. Connection to ourselves and others in a loving and supportive way.
2. Create a safe space to explore our shadows, hidden pains, and fears.
3. Break through physical, emotional, and energetic blocks.
4. Learn how to listen to the inner being of the self and express those thoughts freely.
5. Gain self-awareness and self-reflection with artistic expression within the community.
What a Typical 3-hour Class Looks Like: We gather together in a Sacred Circle, a space filled with positive energy and inspiration. At the center, there's a bowl brimming with items that spark creativity. Our journey begins with a brief one to two-minute sharing, where you have the chance to express your current emotional or physical state and what you're bringing into our healing space today.
Following this, we embark on a guided meditation, which is then complemented by an uplifting reading meant to ignite our spirits. As we immerse ourselves in the soothing melodies of light music, we gently move to select our art supplies, setting the stage for the creative process that unfolds over the next two hours. During this time, I'll be there to offer support and create alongside you, fostering a sense of togetherness.
A bell will signal the start of our cleanup phase, gently guiding us back into our shared Sacred Circle. Here, we come together to admire and draw inspiration from each other's artwork. As our gathering draws to a close, we take a moment to express gratitude for the experience and collect our artwork, ready to continue our personal exploration.
I encourage you to consider journaling as you engage with your artwork and reflect on the emotions and connections that surface throughout our time together. This journey is not just about art; it's about nurturing your spirit and fostering a sense of community and self-discovery.
